1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Soundoper handles information when you visit soundoper.com, contact support, use the Soundoper desktop application, start a trial, or purchase a license.
2. Information you provide
We receive information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, support request, and any details you include when asking for help. You do not need to create an account to download or use the trial version of Soundoper.
3. Trial and licensing information
To protect the trial from abuse and to support license validation, Soundoper may process technical identifiers such as an installation identifier and a device-derived hash. These identifiers are used for trial and licensing functions rather than for advertising.
4. Purchases and payment providers
When you purchase Soundoper through the website, the payment provider may collect information needed to process the transaction, billing, tax, fraud checks, refunds, and customer records. We only receive the purchase and license information needed to deliver and validate your Soundoper license. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Soundoper.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Soundoper uses Google Analytics 4 for basic page-view measurement with analytics and advertising consent settings defaulted to denied. This does not use analytics or advertising cookies, but Google may receive limited cookieless signals about page visits and technical browser information. We do not enable Google signals or ad personalisation and do not send custom purchase, license, or download events. Cookie-based analytics would require a separate consent mechanism where applicable. We do not sell personal information for advertising.
6. How we use information
We use information to operate the website and software, provide support, prevent abuse, manage trials and licenses, process purchases, communicate important service information, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
7. Data sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate Soundoper, such as payment, hosting, email, licensing, and security providers, or when disclosure is required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including support, licensing, accounting, security, and legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
